Mixing in single-use systems often comes with limitations. Rotating parts inside the bag, high shear stress, or complex handling can put product integrity at risk. FUNDAMIX® SU applies DrM’s vibration-based mixing technology to single-use processes. It generates uniform and gentle mixing through vertical oscillation of a mixing plate, without rotating components or mechanical seals.

High Turndown Ratio

FUNDAMIX® SU allows positioning of the mixing plate just a few centimeters from the bottom of the bag, depending on the configuration. This ensures uniform mixing even during emptying phases and contributes to a low dead volume, maximizing product yield and process efficiency.

Mixing, Tailored to Your Process

TYPE A – Upward Axial Flow

Best for: Low-shear applications requiring consistent flow and minimal turbulence. Processes requiring rapid and efficient mixing, such as liquid–liquid blending and formulations involving liquids with light solids.

TYPE B – Downward Axial Flow

Best for: Applications needing stronger agitation with controlled fluid movement. Ideal for processes with fast sedimenting solids or where foam prevention is critical.
