Suspending of Solids​

FUNDAMIX® Vibro-mixers provide efficient, uniform suspension of solids in liquid media, ensuring even particle distribution without vortex formation or dead zones. This is particularly important in processes involving slurries or crystallization where sedimentation or uneven dispersion can lead to quality and yield issues. Catalysts, Activated Carbon or Bentonite in Liquids​

​Processes involving the dispersion of solid agents such as catalysts, activated carbon, or bentonite require thorough and stable mixing to maximize contact surface and reactivity. FUNDAMIX® facilitates consistent dispersion and suspension of these functional solids, ensuring efficient adsorption or reaction processes. After treatment, these agents can be easily removed thanks to the system’s ability to maintain homogeneous suspension without damaging the media.​

Dissolution of Flavors and Fragrances​

​Mixing delicate flavor and fragrance compounds requires both precision and control to ensure complete dissolution without degrading volatile components. Gas/Liquid Batch Reactions like Hydrogenations and Chlorinations​

Gas-liquid batch processes such as hydrogenation or chlorination demand high mixing efficiency to promote mass transfer while controlling gas dispersion. FUNDAMIX® offers excellent gas-liquid contact by distributing gas bubbles evenly throughout the liquid phase, without causing foaming or excessive turbulence. Its closed design and controllable parameters make it ideal for safe handling of reactive gases in both small and large vessels.​

Metal Leaching​

In hydrometallurgical leaching, effective metal extraction depends on sustained, uniform contact between the lixiviant and the metal-bearing solid feed. The FUNDAMIX® Vibro-Mixer keeps solids in suspension through vibration-based axial flow, with no rotating parts, mechanical seals, or lubricants in contact with the process fluid. This eliminates contamination pathways that compromise lixiviant chemistry and removes the wear points that drive maintenance costs in conventional agitator configurations. The enclosed pressure vessel design supports operation in corrosive and chemically aggressive environments.
